LJ 4345 MFP error code

I have another 4345 giving me problems. It's saying in the display "check cables. Check Scanner Lock to contin
tinue turn off & on." We've replaced the scanner PCA located in the rear of the printer and still have this
problem. When you turn the printer off and then back on, we noticed that the scanner does not come away
from the left hand side. The scan lamp does not illuminate. Not quite sure what to make of this..anyone out
there encountered a problem like this ?? Thanks Murphy

Did you check the scanner lock?

The PCA needs to be seated very firmly. Cables must be tightend well.
