Maintenance Kit Message

We have a HP 4240N and just tried to print out some paperwork this morning to find the message saying we need to order a maintenance kit. I see that I can purchase one, and we will be doing that, but is there a way to continue printing while we are waiting on this kit, or is this printer useless until then? Thanks

What is the message you are seeing? If it says, "Perform Printer Maintenance," then you should be able to still send print jobs... that message is just a warning that the printer has reached the recommended number of pages ...

If it says Fuser error , you can try powering down and back up again and see if the error clears temporarily ... if not, you are stuck until you replace the fuser...
