Recommendation

Hi, I'm looking for a multifunction inkjet printer.

* I don't need the print quality to be that good - average quality is fine.
* I would like to be able to print on CD/DVD
* Need a slot for CompactFlash memory cards
* I have no need for fax
* I would like to be able to scan - whether it works without a PC or with doesn't matter.
* The ink costs mustn't be too high
* Needs to be compatible with Vista

That pretty much sums up my needs. I've looked at HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-One, but my dad says that it is too expensive (at AU$148).

Can anyone help me find a printer? Thanks.

Actually, that is a good price. The ink will cost more to replace than another unit, but now they only supply a starter ink that is a rip off.
Printing on CD media is iffy, and you may get quality issues more than not.
I have not done this on that unit, but it has the features you want.
