    Default Hp 2100

Machine feeds paper just about to the fuser unit, then jams. I removed covers and everything looks to be turning. The print on the paper is perfectly fine so there is no drum drag. Rollers are turning fine from the cassette and the bypass. The transfer roller and belts are all turning fine. It just seems to stop for no reason. Any clues?

Usually when the paper feeds properly to just as it hits the fuser on the hp 2100 the problem is related to the paper sensor in the fuser. If you take off the rear cover you can see it approximately in the middle with purple wires running from it. This switch often gets dislodged and will not trip when the paper hits it thius causing the apparent paper jam.
