slow printing on Canon GP215 WinXP SP2

Since installing Service Pack 2 for WinXP we have now got 'massive' delays in printing to our Canon GP215 over the network. Taking SP2 off brings the printing speed back to normal.
The firewall is switched off so I dont think it is that. Any other ideas?

Maybe check and see if Canon has updated their drivers?
