Hi, I have an Hewlett-Packard 3820 deskjet printer. The ink cradlet should move to the middle when you open the front of the printer, and it doesn't. ALso the resume light and power light stay on.
PLEASE HELP :confused:

Unfortunately, most of the newer HP Deskjets are not worth repairing, even if you can find parts. The service station is driven by the paper feed motor via an intermediate gear assembly that tends to break. The older DJ's had a seperate motor for the srvc stn and were easy to repair as parts are generally not needed. Chances are that the gear assembly is shot.
