I am looking for a Impact Printer for peel-apart-paper. Anybody here using that type of paper or suggest what type printer I need to buy?(brands/model)?

I am looking for a small volume of printing like 1,000 -2000 per month.

Appreciate all your help.

Thanks,
Aylmer

Epson and Okidata are probably the two most common makers of impact printers.Their supplies(and parts) should be easy to find.I would get one that lets you set it for different paper thicknesses instead of one that sets the platen gap automatically.Thats because the printer may "check" the thin area when it starts printing and set the gap too narrow for good printing and ribbon life.
