Hi guys,

Using an HP LaserJet 2200DT.
Just installed the optional 250 page tray, so we now have the following trays listed in the source list
-Manual feed
-Tray 1 (same as manual feed)
-Tray 2 (holding 8.5x11 paper) - Letter
-Tray 3 (holding 8.5x14 paper) - Legal -optional 250 page tray.

With this new tray installed and paper source set to "Autoselect" in the printing prefs, every thing we print comes out of the optional tray. We want Letter size docs to print to Tray 2 (as listed above) and Legal Sized docs to print to Tray 3.

Any ideas?

Most printers will use tray 3 as the default. If there is not a selection in the driver for making tray 2 default, you will have to take that extra step an specify when you print what tray to use. No, it is'nt always easy, and sometimes you just have to take charge, and bother to do what it takes.
True, autoselect should know this, but not in the sense that we think.
Try using tray 2 for legal, and tray3 for letter. Stranger things have worked on HP stuff.
