Laserjet 5100 TN optional tray 3 jam

HELP someone PLEASE!!!

On a LJ 5100Tn that has the optional tray 3 addon jams when you try to run a job from it. But there is no paper jamed anywere. It will not even start to pull the paper from 3. gives a 13.1 jam message. I checked all the path's and nothing. prints fine from tray 2 but nothing from tray 3. does anyone have any ideas?

Replace the Tray 3 rollers

Done that and still nothing.

Check the separation clutch, it might even work better if you remove the separation roller, not a permanent solution but you'll know where the problem is.

Hey thanks for the advice. do you happen to know the part number for the seperation clutch. or even what that is?
